When I started taking jazz guitar lessons I knew that I would struggle a lot.  I have never taken any guitar lessons ever, and I was bound to struggle.  That’s why I don’t get too worked up when I make mistakes.  I understand that it is all a part of the learning process.  For example, I am currently having a really hard time learning these jazz guitar chords may instructor gave me to practice with.  They are really hard for me, but I just stop, take a deep breath, and realize that there’s nothing to get upset about.  I know that kind of attitude has really helped me.
