For eighteen years my stepfather taught the third grade at Bradford elementary school in Corona California. He was a very dedicated teacher and the parents and students came to love him very much. Last year my stepfather retired due to health reasons. In the ensuing weeks he received many thank you notes from a variety of people. I was over at his house the other day to help him move his piano and saw that he had close to 50 of these notes spread all over the top of his piano. I’m so happy that my stepfather was able to give a part of himself to his students.
