The Hard Rock Café has always puzzled me because it’s mere existence is about everything the hard rock music is not.  The Hard Rock Café is a commercial venture that is all about marketing and luring people in so that they think they are cool.  You pay a premium for a lousy burger in a cramped restaurant while the ambiance is filled with cheesy sellout posters and other rock tidbits.  Now hard rock music on the other hand is all about freedom from constraints and commercial messages that are stuffed down the throats of everyone, every day.  The two don’t mesh whatsoever.  So do you choose the Hard Rock Café or Hard Rock Music, that is the question?
