I work for a small real estate development company and the firm provides the employees with a certain amount of money to use each year for additional training to stay up to date on what’s going on in the real estate world. Me and another friend that I work with decided to use this year’s allotment to get LEED green associate certification. She decided she would just pay for the test, while I decided I would pay for the test and training courses. She saved the firm some money by not using extra for training, but she failed the test and I passed. Now she is upset that she will have to take the test again.
