Wednesday, February 24th, 2010

It’s easy to become a guitarist. All you need is patience, determination, and the help of Steve Krentz’s Learn and Master Guitar program. This program features audio and video lessons which can help improve your riffing, strumming, and plucking skills within a matter of weeks. What’s great about this program is that it eliminates the need for you to sign up for expensive yet boring guitar lessons.

You can be a great guitarist without leaving the comfort of your own home. As long as you have the Learn and Master Guitar program, you can improve your guitar playing skills significantly.

Find Medical Laboratory Technologist Jobs

Monday, February 22nd, 2010

Before going to nursing school, I was interested in becoming a medical laboratory technologist. I was always interested in microbiology, but for some reason, I decided to choose a career in nursing instead. Although I love my career choice, I often wonder about the interesting caseloads that technologist encounter every day. Just like nurses, technologists are able to choose from different shifts, especially when they choose a job in a hospital. Other than hospital based opportunities, job openings can often be found at clinics free standing medical laboratories. The pay is very competitive and they are often afforded excellent benefits such as comprehensive insurance and stock packages.

House share

Monday, February 15th, 2010

I was speaking to an agent recently about some of the south african property for sale as we have been looking at the possibility of buying a place down there. We are not really in a position to buy a place on our own but some friends of ours are very keen to go halves on a property and share the use of it. Of course we can all use it at the same time as it does have four bedrooms which is ample room for all of us. All going to plan, we should hopefully have a place all ready to go for next summer as we are looking at a settlement date sometime in the next few months if we decide on a house.

Learning Disability

Friday, February 12th, 2010

My only child has a learning disability, and he was having a great deal of trouble learning to read. My sister in law suggested that I try one of the new phonics programs on the market which claim to help any child. I did as she suggested and started right to work with the DVD and instruction book with my son. The graphics and animations kept his attention which is a large part of the learning process. He diligently practiced the sounds and eventually was able to associate those with words. I know he had been quite frustrated with his inability to read, but with the program he is making progress which encourages him to work harder.

Ideas Can Be Owned and Protected

Monday, February 8th, 2010

Did you know that an idea can be owned by someone?  Not only that, an idea can be stolen if it is not protected properly.  Ideas are sometimes called Intellectual Property and are very important throughout the world in stimulating innovation, economic development, and creativity.  They are so important the UN formed a special agency called the World Intellectual Property Organization to find ways to protect ideas.  Some forms of Intellectual Property are categorized as Industrial Property.  This includes industrial designs, trademarks, and inventions.  Other forms of Intellectual Property are protected by copyrights.  Books, plays, songs, movies, photographs, paintings, and any other type of literary or artistic work is copyrighted.  This means no one can sing the song, show the movie, or use the photograph without getting permission from or paying the owner.  This is the only fair way to ensure the protection of ideas.

Discussion Groups Have Great Info

Saturday, February 6th, 2010

When searching for detailed information you may go to acquaintances. You typically would go to the acquaintance that you consider to be the most technical. The person that knows the most about subject matter. Online web sites which are discussion groups serve the same intention. One of my favorite internet sites online is a social site. As a social site or forums it means the content is made by individuals. It is a site where the editors find deals. But more importantly It is also site where individuals can use the forum. By searching through the forum you can see what people talk about. What is most interesting is the individuals content. Find this discussion about GoDaddy hosting and read others experiences. Unlike a conversation you may have with someone on the street on-line conversations and text are saved. You can see and read what was talked over at a future time.

Being Accused of Racism

Friday, January 15th, 2010

In Mormon history, it used to be that those with African ancestry could not hold the priesthood, which is rather controversial. There is a lot of speculation on why this was until 1978 when a revelation was given allowing all worthy men to hold the priesthood. This Baptist pastor told me our church was racist and I really had to laugh at that. First, I told him that The Book of Mormon teaches love for all races and that in mormon history, we never had segregated congregations. Third, where does a Baptist get off calling a church’s history racist when they were established based on a disagreement about slavery (them being on the pro side)? Our whole country went through a very racist time.
