Traveling with a Laptop
Saturday, January 2nd, 2010As a business traveller who is always on the road, having my laptop lightweight and thin is a huge bonus. Even still, battery life is equally important since most planes lack a power source, but good battery life seems to always weigh the computer down. I’m willing to forgo a CD/DVD drive for a smaller design, especially now that almost any file can be imported and trasferred with a thumb drive, or downloaded from the internet. Finally, I don’t mind having a smaller screen which fits on the tray table in the airline seats better. Even some sacrifices in terms of storage space and RAM, are worth it since I keep a desktop at home for more heavy use itmes.
