I am so excited. I have just been approved to be a foster parent. This has been a grueling process, but I’m glad I went though it. Now I just have to go to our social services agency and sign some paperwork. As soon as our state receives it, I can begin taking in children. After stopping by the social services agency, I plan to go shopping. My first stop will be for childrens furniture as I want to set up a bedroom that any child would love to live in. Then it’s off to buy books and toys. I need a wide variety of stuff as I don’t know what the child’s age will be beforehand. I’ll just have to get a little bit of everything.
