My only child has a learning disability, and he was having a great deal of trouble learning to read. My sister in law suggested that I try one of the new phonics programs on the market which claim to help any child. I did as she suggested and started right to work with the DVD and instruction book with my son. The graphics and animations kept his attention which is a large part of the learning process. He diligently practiced the sounds and eventually was able to associate those with words. I know he had been quite frustrated with his inability to read, but with the program he is making progress which encourages him to work harder.
