I wanted some lake taupo accommodation for us to stay in for our weekend at the lake as opposed to the regular sort of motel that we would stay in. It’s not that we stay in places that aren’t nice, but it was my girlfriends’ birthday so I really wanted to go all out and make it a special weekend, starting with a very nice play to stay. I booked in a few other things for her, like a massage and facial at one of the beauty salons in town which I knew she would love as she doesn’t treat herself to that sort of thing. The other thing I did was make a reservation at the nicest restaurant in town for her birthday dinner.
